Chest Extension for Alpine Dog Coats

For broad-chested breeds, we've provided an option to give your pup extra room with our Alpine Dog Coats in all sizes with our new Chest Extension Straps.

  • Same sturdy materials featured in Alpine coats
  • Reflective material
  • Quick-snap buckles work seamlessly with Alpine coat buckles
  • Webbing is 3 inches long
  • 5 inches total extra length including buckles
  • Two sizes available
  • Multiple straps can be used together for the largest of breeds (sold individually)

As requested by our customers, we've created a Chest Extension Strap for our Alpine Dog Coats. With 3 inches of reflective webbing and the buckles, your dog will enjoy an extra 5 inches in the girth area for a more comfortable fit for broad-chested dog breeds. Our Chest Strap Extension comes in two sizes to cover all of our Alpine coats from XS through 5XL. For even more room, multiple straps can be used together. Sold individually.

For XS - XL Coats - 3" long webbing (5" total extension with buckles) x 5/8" wide

For 2XL - 5XL Coats - 3" long webbing (5" total extension with buckles) x 1" wide

It is designed with ease in mind for both human and canine alike, just slip the front paws through the coat, attach the hook and loop closure tabs at the top and now you're ready for the park! Made from a thick 2800 gram fleece, these coats will keep every pup comfy and warm this fall and winter season The hook and loop closure tab design across the back make it easy to adjust the fit and attach a leash to a harness underneath.

All dogs need to be warm in the winter, so this is made for tiny to large breeds. Sizes range 3 to 150 lbs.

All you have to do is machine wash and air dry!

It is then closed with a 1 inch wide strip of Velcro on the top. Since there is only a 1 inch wide Velcro, that means the adjustment for size is very tight in range. Therefore to over come this, it is important that the Highline Fleece Coat needs to fit loose and NOT tight. Because of the narrow adjustments, this is the reason there are so many sizes.

Below is the size chart and notice the chest size! The actual size is slightly larger than the chest size shown on purpose to allow some extra room to make sure it can close. This means the Highline Fleece Coat will fit the chest measurement below and have some room to play.
